Student Arrival and Departure

Safety is our #1 concern!

Traffic Alert! We expect an increased number of car riders through the first few weeks of school. Please know car line procedures.

We ask that once you enter our car line, no cell phones should be in use. This is to ensure that everyone is paying attention to their surroundings and that we all get to class and back home safely.

AM drop off begins at 7:30am. Students should be completely ready to exit the vehicle when entering the car line. Make sure backpacks are zipped, breakfast is done and goodbyes are said.

Please pull all the way forward (pole #1) to get as many cars into our unloading zone as possible. Do not stop if there is space ahead of you to pull up. The unloading zone starts at pole #1 and goes around to the flagpole.
Once you get to the unloading zone, please have your child exit the vehicle.
Parents are not permitted to get out of the car, or park in the unloading zone. Students must exit vehicle on the "sidewalk side" of the car. Our staff members are ready to greet them and help them into the building.

If your child is not ready to exit the car independently, utilize Trotwood Park. You may park and walk your child to the back gate. We also have parking spaces on the left side of our campus. You may park and walk your child to the car ramp.

The bus loop and grassy area is for buses and staff parking only.

We know that the first couple weeks are always a bit busier than normal and will adjust tardies as needed. Leave earlier than you normally would leave. A 3 minute drive may take 15 minutes these first couple of weeks. Please plan accordingly.

Thank you for your patience these first couple weeks

Parent Sign-in

Our most important job at Keeth Elementary is to provide a safe and secure environment for our students. For your child's safety we require all visitors to sign in and show photo identification at the front office. All visitors must show photo identification when signing out a student. This helps us to keep track of visitors on our campus. In order for us to make this effective everyone needs to abide by policy. Please make our job easier and remember to sign in.
